Affordable, Effective Hormone Replacement Therapy
What is hormone replacement pellet therapy?
Hormone Replacement Pellet Therapy (HRPT) helps alleviate the symptoms of hormone imbalances in men and women. HRPT is different from synthetic hormone therapy in that bioidentical hormones mimic the exact molecular structure of the hormones your body produces.
Because the hormones look identical, your body doesn’t react to them the same way it may react to synthetic hormones. Bioidentical hormones are made in a lab with plant chemical extracts.
How does HRPT pellet therapy work?
If you suffer from symptoms of hormone imbalance and want to explore HRPT as a treatment option, the expert team at Healthy Outcomes AZ begins with an initial consultation to discuss your concerns.
Then, we test your hormone levels through a comprehensive blood-work panel to determine whether you’re a good candidate for pellet therapy.
If so, we order tiny HRPT hormone pellets specifically designed to complement your unique hormonal needs. In the next appointment with you, we carefully insert the pellets just beneath your skin after numbing the area and making an incision.
For the next three to four months the pellets continuously release hormones when your body needs them, relieving you of the unpleasant symptoms of hormone fluctuations. You will probably need to return for new pellets two-four times per year. Other than that, there’s nothing to worry about!
